Weekend Snapshot: Urban Mind

This is one of several photos I took at a remote brown field in New York State. This piece speaks to me of urban life, of ultimate solitude, and of chaos. Of course, the paint ball hit reminds me not to take any of this too seriously! (Note: No private property was harmed in the making of this graffito.) See more of these walls here.

  13. Anonymous8:41 PM

It's fun to gaze at that while listening to Pachelbel. I'd rename the song "Cannon" in view of my Navy gunnery background...

  14. Anonymous8:51 PM

Yes they are kind of sad colors.

  20. interesting graffiti! i would love to try taking urban photos! :D

  21. Simply fab! Thanks for sharing.

  22. Love it! If only this talent could be captured and referred to canvas! But then, I suppose it would loose a bit of its mystery!
Thanks for continuing to support my blog while I've been busy around the corner! lol

  23. A lot of graffiti is art -- all in the eye of the beholder, I guess. This is a great photo!

  24. The shot does not destroy the wall but it gives it more beauty and recognition. Without it, its just a wall but with it, becomes art.

    Happy WS, Sandy

  31. Anonymous10:42 PM
