Wordless Wednesday: Ice on Ice

The Shepaug River, Roxbury, Connecticut: Ice on ice in the bleak midwinter.

Wordless Wednesday

  1. We are supposed to have record high temps today. I wonder if the ice will still be there.

Winter is such a bleak time for me. The short days, cold winds and the fact I can't spend as much time outdoors really weighs on me. I guess that is what is so great about spring.

  2. Living in tropical Singapore, I'll never be able to experience the coldness or harshness of a winter.

I do enjoy playing in the snow for a day or two when I go for a winter holiday. But then I find it fun. hehe...

  35. This is pretty! It reminds me of the rivers I experenced when I lived in New Hampshire.
We don't have those in Southeastern Texas. Once in about 10 or 20 years we have a little snow.
    Happy WW!
