The clouds are subtle, deep, and beautiful. It's nice to look through the gaps in the leaves watch their rapid movement and the changing shapes. By mid-week, the thick cover gave way to this:

    ReplyDelete
  38. totally awesome skys!

    ReplyDelete
  39. What "Louis" wishes he could have captured in his image of the dance between the moon and the fog at midnight is that the wind was making the fog swirl very fast. The still shot just doesn't capture the motion. The swirling fog around the sodium vapor lights really made it look like a fire. It was a fantastic scene that "Louis" couldn't adequately capture.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Isn't that just gorgeous! Only God can do that! I love it!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sandy: How I love this shot of the variable Sky. I enjoy when the cloud shapes are all mixed in.

Very cool how well those photos work together...It takes a special eye to see what you photograph.

In your shots, you give what Ansel Adams was talking about here..."It is my intention to present - through the medium of photography - intuitive observations of the natural world which may have meaning to the spectators."

    Thanks
