Weekend Snapshot: My Fortune Get link Facebook Twitter Pinterest Email Other Apps By SandyCarlson - January 18, 2009 Weekend Snapshot Weekend Snapshot Get link Facebook Twitter Pinterest Email Other Apps Comments DoubleDeckerBusGuy3:16 PM...and the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. You can't argue these things... and when someone is hesitating, they are important things to remember!ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyCarver3:40 PMOh, I like your fortune. Here's to joy in all that you begin!ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyMojo5:30 PMWow. The fortune cookies I've gotten lately have been really lame, so it's good to know that's not an industry wide trend.Of course, everyone knows this already, but sometimes we still require reminders.ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyYolanda6:17 PMHow true this is dear friend.Have a wonderful week.ReplyDeleteRepliesReply♥♥ Willa ♥♥6:23 PMwhat a simple photo but speaks a lot!WSReplyDeleteRepliesReplyLin Floyd7:12 PMand some things won't begin until other things end...ReplyDeleteRepliesReplytigerfish7:13 PMAnd an end too!Is that from a cookie? ;pReplyDeleteRepliesReplySusan at Stony River7:14 PMI need to pin this on my wall, or make it a t-shirt. It speaks to me (and shames me or encourages me by turns!).Hmmm, who am I kidding...it will have to be a tattoo!ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyDennis Villegas8:37 PMYes, I agree, Everything must have a beginning..a simple but very true maxim, SandyReplyDeleteRepliesReplyCloudia9:16 PMEveryTHING, yes!Cause-less cause.World without end.AmenReplyDeleteRepliesReplyAnonymous10:12 PMwonderful thought for the day. i think of the young lady to the left often.ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyPaul10:29 PMthe beginning is the time of our lives and so we should begin each new day with that thought in mind and live each day with that kind of zest for life!ReplyDeleteRepliesReplywispy willow10:29 PMThat is very true... so is Lin's comment. Some things can't begin until others end. And often it is hard to find the beginning. A child gone astray... when did it all begin? A broken marriage. When did the love and commitment start to fade? The hardness in the hearts of your difficult students...when did they lose hope? The end that was necessary for the shell around them to develop. And the shell needs to soften and fall away for hoep to begin anew...Life is often a series of cycles, I think.Good post. You are so completely aware of opportunities to be taught.ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyDeLi11:43 PMyes!ReplyDeleteRepliesReplyKero11:48 PM..true. and all that starts well ends well. loved your snapshot, Sandy.
