  3. so if we live in each season, there is beauty and quiet in the coldness of winter, a resting and waiting for warmth to return...just like our lives sometimes.

  5. Don't tell me you already have tulips blooming!!! We have a few daffodils poking out of the ground so far. . .

Beautiful tulip. It was funny when the page first opened -- the stem seemed to stretch for about 8 inches on the desktop!!!!!!! Must have just been how the photo was downlaoding on thsi community room computer.

BTW, I loved the words you wrote in my comment for today!

  6. Wow. That looks almost edible! Just lovely!

Or maybe it was the mention of fruit in the Thoreau quote that did it to me.

  20. I'm in sync with Lin'scomments. Perhaps that's because I feel like a new awakening is tucked beneath the surface of my soul. You know how we go through these touching times of growth. We need a period of rest, solitude and quiet for them to take place. So, she's spot on.

But...I can't wait to see the tulips in my yard bobbing in the spring breeze.

Lovely photo from a lovely young lady.
