The begonias on my front step have been unstoppable this year. They are prevailing yet despite the severe dips in temperature we have had at night.

    feel a bit saddened at this time in autumn.. many of our flowers look the best even with the temperatures taking a dip..I suppose it's the lack of extreme heat..but the sadness comes in having to remove them in preparation for Autumn cleaning up and emptying pots.sigh

  38. I love the way you have captured the texture of the petals in that first shot!!! And the shadows in the second one! There are a lot of people now showing a side of flowers other than their faces, and that makes it all so interesting!!
