  2. If I only had a brain!

Actually, I like the abstract-ness of the bottom shot. It almost looks like fabric (maybe cornsilk? har-har-har...).

  20. All my corn is brown and my garden needs more work than I want to put into it right now. So I'm off to the fair for a Corn Dog

  21. That scarecrow is spooky. The corn around here is brown. It doesn't make you think too much about corn. It looks so forlorn. Sad really, and it doesn't take a frost to bring corn to this state. I hope the farmers can get into the fields soon to pick. It is way too wet right now.

  22. Hi Sandy,
You've managed to capture corn from every angle - even as a scarecrow. (I guess that's recycled corn?)

The first photo reminds me of some of the old horror movies from the seventies. They don't seem so scary any more, but I still prefer the stalks themselves against the sky!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Nice theme. The scarecrow looked so cute. Have a nice day.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Great scarecrow! I am surprised that the corn stalks are still so green there.

  30. It reminds me to keep trying to grow my own corn. I have no success after 3 attempts. Gonna try again.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It must have been "high as an elephant's eye" or you would not have been able to get those great angles.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Beautiful tribute to corn.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Nice pictures, the first one is a bit creapy.
