Someone has a dreadful headache, no doubt...

The light and shadows capture something More, here. The cap next to the first one is really intriguing. It didn't fall far...

  2. what an intelligent capture for the prompt!

  3. More than a few memories from a misspent youth in these two shots. I took some similar ones behind a graffiti-covered building a few weeks ago. Nice work.

  4. Oh boy. What a contrast with the green grass and sunlight, the memories these two must have.

  5. I started commenting about who might have left these ... and how I was annoyed they littered but in the end I have to say good post, got me thinking and that's always good.

  6. I hate to have to pick up other peoples trash. I do all the time. We live on a busy road. UGH... I make up stories about the items I find to amuse myself. Keeps me from getting too angry.

  7. The photos say it all and yet you can't help but wonder who left them, were they just unthinking and uncaring? Were they trying to escape something they couldn't deal with? Great, thought provoking captures and a terrific post for the day, as always! Hope you've had a good day and have a lovely evening!

  8. I guess thats 10 cents worth? or more
Beats digging through the trash :)
Sometimes the kids run through the neighborhood to pick up bottles from the recycling boxes for their school or sport fund raisers.
Then when we see retired, homeless, sick people also scavenging for the same bottles, we feel bad.So we don't do it anymore.

  9. what a waste-sometime trying to escape the reality of life.

  10. The first thing that popped in my head when I saw those shots was, someone needs to recycle.

  11. Sigh...

  12. Sandy: I saw the same thing at the lake when I fished from shore last year. The people have to throw it down instead of getting caught with an empty bottle.

  13. wow, a hard night's day :)

  14. To bad they had to litter :/ It's probably to wet now, but later in the year those could cause a fire by intensifying the suns reflections.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh My! I'm sure there are stories to go with that ;) Happy Wordless Wednesday!!

  22. Oh Ugh! Somebody young, I bet.

  23. If I drank that, I would be passed out on the grass next to the bottles.

    ReplyDelete
  24. that is an interesting picture. It kind of makes me wonder what they were celebrating.

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is something which I absolutely hate to see. Some people can be so inconsiderate.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Fantastic photos which can tell a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Great post! You've turned something that is usually ignored and made it somewhat intriguing. :)

  28. let me see... looks like i need to do photo walk and shot some photos like this. ordinary things... made beautiful through a lens.

  29. Must have been quite a night.
I do like the contrast of the glass against the green, and "found objects" aspect.

  30. Great shots Sandy.

  31. Great title! I've never heard of blackberry brandy. Brandy is pretty gross by itself, I can't imagine blackberry flavored.

I've missed your visits. Have I offended you in some way? If so, please accept my apologies.

  32. Looks like that was some night!

  33. My favorite part was reading through the comments and seeing how many different ways there are to look at it.

  34. Nessa's comment made me laugh - 'I don't remember being there' - LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  35. oh bad...leaving their mess behind

    ReplyDelete
  36. Beautiful images, Sandy! I think there is a story behind them. However, I couldn't drink even a drop of those!

  37. The result of too much.
Great WW-entry. Tells a lot with allmost no words needed

    ReplyDelete
  38. No words needed for these shots Sandy the picture says it all!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I bet they woke up with a headache, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Sandy, it's not a good idea to take pictures of the evidence. Better to throw out each bottle as you finish it. Trust me on this; they can TRACE you!

They say that admitting you have a problem...

    ... is the first step!
