Today's Flowers: Autumn

DSC00469

Tagging along on a geo-caching expedition, I found myself waylaid more than once by the dead and dying flora of autumn. That's what optimism looks like this time of year around these parts. Basically it's all comes down to this: it's all so very good. I say it every day. I breathe it. I believe it. Sometimes I look back and words for what was come to me; I catch them if I can--like so many swirling leaves that rest on the earth--or let them go. They are blessings and artifacts, remnants that form the fiber of truth. I honor them and let them go.

  1. A very positive way to look at these remants of summer. They make me start thinking about next spring already. What will next summer's garden hold?

  2. Yes, this such a thought Sandy!

Is it a dying fern leaves?, almost dried up?

it shows about life cycle too...from blooming to withering then back again...let us treasure them like an artifact

  4. Dear Sandy I feel we have "dived deep" in the words you have chosen and put together. How very beautiful. To be able to see the "optimism" in the "dead and dying." Again I say to you, I stand in awe of you! You say, "Sometimes I look back and words for what was come to me; I catch them if I can...." Profound. You are pure magic. Yes, truth is everywhere, if we are only aware. The Universe is set up for your happiness. Sometimes I have wondered, if we are happy, is that a different level? And is it not from our depths, that we are able to express this kind of wonder? I applaud you.
